Responsibilities
- Organize and assign project tasks for application development team members and guide execution.
- Design, implement, and enhance enterprise web applications and user interfaces.
- Integrate data and improve application performance and user experience.
- Mentor and coach less experienced staff in technical and professional capabilities.
- Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve software issues.
- Lead application reviews, unit testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
- Execute automated functional and regression tests, isolate and report defects, and verify fixes.
- Analyze automation opportunities and coordinate solutions to automation-related problems.
- Contribute to development processes, best practices, and technology knowledge across enterprise applications and operational tools.
- Work with internal and external onshore and offshore resources while adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of relevant .NET web application development experience.
- Expert knowledge of C#, AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, SQL, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, TypeScript CDK, and IAM.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of database schemas, querying tools, quality assurance processes, software defects, and automation.
- Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipelines and developing and consuming APIs and web services.
- Strong communication, analysis, attention to detail, negotiation, influencing, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: 5+ years developing .NET, C#, and MVC web applications; 5+ years with JSON, REST, and SOAP web services; and 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Preferred: experience with AWS MediaConvert and Python.
