Responsibilities
- Advise leadership on applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, and web technologies for complex enterprise needs.
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex technical challenges requiring scalable, innovative, and long-term solutions.
- Translate business objectives, enterprise technology environments, and strategic opportunities into technical engineering solutions.
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on significant technology and business solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and recommend innovations that improve operations or provide competitive advantage.
- Lead complex technical initiatives and influence technical decisions across distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support reliable, stable, secure, and operationally excellent solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 7+ years of experience with Spring Boot in the Java ecosystem or ASP.NET Core in the .NET ecosystem.
- 5+ years of experience with React or Angular.
- 3+ years of experience providing vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on innovative business solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database.
- 1 year of experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, or Claude.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, influence decisions, identify scalable solutions, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and business-requirement translation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in geographically distributed Agile teams and willingness to learn new technologies and engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, customer focus, and commitment to high-quality results.

- Base pay range of $159,000.00-$254,000.00 USD annually, with potential incentive opportunities.
