Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical solutions spanning multiple applications and projects with significant business implications.
- Design, develop, and maintain resilient, scalable, integrated enterprise applications.
- Guide adoption of enterprise frameworks, tools, technologies, engineering platforms, and architectural processes.
- Drive disaster recovery, capacity planning, performance, regression, and chaos testing, along with observability dashboards, reliability processes, and recovery runbooks.
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in code quality, test coverage, security, and Agile delivery.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, simplify engineering processes, remove bottlenecks, and resolve escalated issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement.
- Seven years of experience in software development or a related field.
- Six years of experience across frontend technologies, middleware, database technologies, or DevOps.
- Six years of experience implementing solutions through iterative Agile development lifecycles.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, six years of technical documentation and business systems experience, six years working with IT Infrastructure Library frameworks, defect or incident tracking software, web services, and application and integration middleware, six years in systems analysis and design, six years with multiple technical areas, and four years leading teams with or without direct reports.
