Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and support of applications using Django and React.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance APIs.
- Architect and integrate Microsoft Azure cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to deliver solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and security controls.
- Mentor and guide junior developers.
- Optimize database performance and manage data storage solutions.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, performance, and security across environments.
- Participate in solution architecture, technical design reviews, and strategic technology decisions.
- Support regulatory reporting and CCAR-related application initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of backend development experience, including extensive hands-on experience with Python and Django.
- At least 3 years of experience developing front-end applications with React.
- Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and web application architecture.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Azure Databricks is preferred.
- Familiarity with Delta Lake architecture and Delta Tables is preferred.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application deployment is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
