
Lead Specialty Software Engineer - Agentic AI

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-scale applications and AI-powered solutions.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Angular and/or React, Spring Boot, SQL Server, and related technologies.
- Design and implement Agentic AI solutions using LangGraph, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Develop Python-based services, automation solutions, APIs, and data processing pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, business partners, and engineering teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
- Analyze and resolve complex challenges across application, database, integration, and AI solution components.
- Contribute to DevOps, testing, security, CI/CD, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Drive modernization, automation, AI adoption, and high-quality solution delivery while influencing technical decisions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years of experience developing Java applications with Spring Boot and microservices architectures.
- At least 5 years of experience developing solutions using Python.
- At least 6 months of experience building Agentic AI solutions using LangGraph or similar agent frameworks.
- Experience with SQL Server, including data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Experience developing enterprise applications with Angular and/or React.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and AI application development.
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems and APIs.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AI governance, observability, evaluation frameworks, responsible AI, semantic models, vector search, knowledge graphs, or metadata-driven architectures is desirable.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and modern DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring ability, communication skills, analytical ability, troubleshooting skills, and problem-solving skills.
