Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set the technical goal and architectural roadmap for Android backup ecosystem integrations.
- Design and build client SDKs for OEM backup integrations and evolve the backup engine.
- Optimize reliability, battery, memory, and network usage under strict Android OS constraints.
- Co-design client-server synchronization and translate cross-functional requirements into scalable solutions.
- Promote engineering excellence through code and architecture reviews, best practices, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience with Android application development.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in complex, matrixed, cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Experience designing client SDKs, developer libraries, or modular platforms integrated by third-party or OEM partner applications.
