Responsibilities
- Write and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Analyze test results and identify issues, inconsistencies, and performance gaps.
- Reproduce customer and system issues in controlled lab environments.
- Set up and maintain testbeds and lab environments containing routers, switches, and access points.
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve issues.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Copilot and Cursor to improve testing efficiency and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals, preferably in Python or a similar scripting language.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing concepts.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in AI-enabled engineering practices and AI productivity tools.
- Preferred: exposure to networking devices through coursework, labs, or internships.
- Preferred: familiarity with setting up small network environments and basic wireless technologies including Wi-Fi and 802.11.
- Preferred: CCNA certification or progress toward it.
