Responsibilities
- Design positive and negative test coverage, execute automated test suites, and analyze test results.
- Maintain testing documentation, record test execution activities, and log defects.
- Report bugs, errors, and anomalies while collaborating with development teams on diagnosis and remediation.
- Create new automation frameworks when needed and perform automated API testing of REST web services.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities and automation tools to support incident triage, trend analysis, and production support workflows, validating outputs before action.
- Apply technical troubleshooting and analyze large, diverse data sets to support secure and stable application development.
- Coach and mentor team members to build testing capabilities.
- Demonstrate product features to business stakeholders and collaborate with product teams on process improvements.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, TestNG, BlazeMeter, and Java.
- Understanding of software business analysis, development, maintenance, and improvement.
- Exposure to JIRA or similar test case and defect management tools.
- Experience working with Agile Scrum teams.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of applications or infrastructure in large-scale on-premises and public-cloud technology environments.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for production support, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review AI-assisted incident recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and follow operational and security expectations.
- Preferred experience with general-purpose programming languages or automation scripting.
- Preferred working understanding of the banking domain.
