Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria and create comprehensive test scenarios, plans, cases, and data.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT support testing across eLIMS-BPT and integrated applications.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks and suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze automation failures.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and perform root cause analysis for defects through closure.
- Support release planning, validation activities, controlled deployments, readiness reviews, risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
- Ensure test coverage, requirements traceability, and evidence generation for regulated environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior QA engineers on testing practices.
- Define and track quality metrics, recommend testing and process improvements, and promote quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- Requires 2–5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong experience with functional and regression testing.
- Experience with test automation tools such as WebDriverIO, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools and with SQL and database validation.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools and understanding of CI/CD and release management practices.
- MCA or bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Healthcare, life sciences, laboratory systems, LIMS, ELN, or regulated-environment experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of validation concepts, evidence generation, GxP, GMP, GLP, CSV, or related compliance processes is advantageous.
- Performance testing, Azure services, cloud-based applications, enterprise-scale distributed systems, and security testing knowledge are nice to have.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, ownership, attention-to-detail, and English writing skills are required.
