Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define test scenarios and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT support testing across eLIMS-BPT and integrated applications.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks and suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or WebDriverIO.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze automation failures to improve reliability.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and perform root cause analysis on defects through closure.
- Support release planning, validation activities, controlled deployments, release readiness reviews, risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
- Define and track quality metrics including defect leakage, automation coverage, and test effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, and Support teams in an Agile environment.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, guide testing best practices, and drive quality and process improvements.
Requirements
- Requires 2-5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Requires strong functional and regression testing experience.
- Requires experience with test automation tools such as WebDriverIO, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent.
- Requires API testing experience using Postman or similar tools, plus SQL and database validation experience.
- Requires experience with Azure DevOps or similar application lifecycle management tools and understanding of release management practices.
- Requires an MCA or bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent.
- Preferred experience includes healthcare, life sciences, laboratory systems, LIMS, ELN, regulated environments, validation concepts, and evidence generation.
- Knowledge of GxP, GMP, GLP, CSV, performance testing, Azure services, cloud applications, enterprise distributed systems, and security testing concepts is desirable.
- Requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, ownership, attention to detail, and English writing and speaking skills.
