Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT support testing.
- Validate business workflows across eLIMS-BPT and integrated applications.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks and suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze automation failures.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through closure.
- Perform root cause analysis for escaped defects and validate fixes with developers and stakeholders.
- Support release planning, validation activities, controlled deployments, readiness reviews, and risk assessments.
- Generate and maintain evidence for regulated environments and support audit and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, and Support teams.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and guide testing best practices.
- Define and track quality metrics including defect leakage, automation coverage, and test effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements to testing strategies, tools, and processes.
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong experience in functional and regression testing.
- Experience with test automation tools such as WebDriverIO, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with SQL and database validation.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools.
- Understanding of release management and CI/CD concepts.
- MCA or bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent.
- Healthcare, life sciences, laboratory systems, LIMS, ELN, or regulated-environment experience is preferred.
- Understanding of validation concepts and evidence generation in regulated systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with GxP, GMP, GLP, CSV, or related compliance processes is desirable.
- Performance testing, Azure services, cloud-based applications, enterprise-scale distributed systems, and security testing knowledge are nice to have.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, mentoring, and attention-to-detail skills.
