Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write clean, secure, and performant Java code using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Build responsive frontend interfaces and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Lead architectural decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Champion CI/CD practices and oversee automated cloud deployments on AWS and GCP.
- Use GitHub Copilot, Devin, Claude Code, and Cursor for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and development acceleration.
- Design and implement AI/ML integration patterns and LLM-powered application features.
- Design, deploy, and maintain high-scale customer-facing applications in production.
- Own key project areas, drive technical initiatives, and lead cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Six or more years of professional software engineering experience, including at least three years focused on modern full-stack development.
- Advanced proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, asynchronous programming, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Cassandra, including schema design, query optimization, and data migration.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift.
- Expert-level knowledge of GitHub and branching strategies.
- Demonstrated experience with AI-powered development tools including GitHub Copilot, Devin, Claude Code, or Cursor.
- Understanding of Large Language Models and experience integrating AI/ML components or services is preferred.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, and AI/ML framework integration is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, technical leadership, mentorship, and continuous-learning abilities.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
Benefits
- Full-time position.
- Primary location full-time base salary range of $120,800.00 to $170,800.00.
