Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable full-stack web applications for Investment Banking and Global Markets.
- Design responsive user interfaces, dashboards, and data visualization tools for financial data analysis.
- Build APIs and microservices to integrate data and services across business units.
- Create data processing pipelines and web applications for real-time market data.
- Implement testing frameworks, monitoring solutions, performance improvements, and system-health controls.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Manage software development lifecycle activities including code reviews, version control, and SDLC tools.
- Optimize SQL and NoSQL database design and performance while implementing data-quality and validation frameworks.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and evaluate emerging financial technology trends.
- Use generative AI development tools and integrate AI-powered features into products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Programming proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with familiarity in C#, Scala, or Java.
- Advanced frontend development experience with React JS and responsive UI/UX principles.
- Backend development experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js and RESTful API design.
- Expertise with SQL databases and NoSQL systems.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and scalable web application systems.
- Experience integrating generative AI workflows, LLMs for code assistance, and AI model APIs such as OpenAI or Hugging Face into production applications.
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time data handling.
- Awareness of performance optimization, monitoring tools, security practices, and application reliability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, message queues, big data technologies, machine learning frameworks, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred knowledge of investment banking, financial markets, trading strategies, and financial data formats.
