Responsibilities
- Own technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform, fault-tolerant application systems.
- Work throughout the Software Development Life Cycle as part of a dynamic engineering team.
- Improve developer experience by identifying gaps in internal frameworks and tools and contributing to solutions.
- Establish engineering best practices, technical standards, and code review standards.
- Provide technical expertise, problem solving, and support to ensure engineering standards are followed.
- Own application architecture, assess evolving technologies, follow High Level Design methodology, and contribute to HLD.
- Mentor junior and intermediate associates and guide technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on development experience, preferably using at least two listed programming languages or frameworks.
- At least 6 years of experience with application or system design, architecture, and development.
- Proficiency building both user-facing front-end and server-side back-end applications in a full-stack role.
- Experience mentoring junior or intermediate associates and guiding technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred: 8 or more years leading the full software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: bachelor's, master's, or diploma in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience in an agile environment and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
