Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver large-scale software projects.
- Contribute to product ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing.
- Build high-quality, scalable software using sound architecture and design principles.
- Design and deliver clean APIs connecting client applications with backend services.
- Build and deploy robust, highly scalable web services in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with product, data, and design teams to define the ShopBack experience.
- Lead and mentor software engineers while promoting engineering best practices.
- Analyze requirements, develop solutions, and communicate technical trade-offs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience developing consumer-facing web applications.
- Proven experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
- Hands-on experience with NodeJS is preferred.
- Experience building and deploying applications and services in cloud environments, with AWS highly desired.
- Strong experience leading the design and implementation of robust, highly scalable web services.
- Demonstrated use of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude to improve workflows and productivity.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex technical environment with adaptability and flexibility.
