Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, debug, optimize, integrate, and support MUMPS applications for Department of Veterans Affairs systems.
- Develop and troubleshoot IFCAP and Generic Inventory Package workflows, custom tools, and reporting capabilities.
- Work with VistA environments, FileMan, VA Kernel, and VistA infrastructure components.
- Support VistA package deployment, national patching, release management, sustainment, and production support.
- Analyze requirements, plan technical integrations, apply system architecture principles, and document functional and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with VA stakeholders, business analysts, product owners, developers, and other technical teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing, debugging, integrating, and supporting VistA MUMPS applications.
- Experience with IFCAP and Generic Inventory Package workflows, custom tools, or reporting capabilities.
- Experience with VistA environments, FileMan, VA Kernel, and VistA infrastructure components.
- Experience with VistA deployment, national patching, release management, sustainment, and production support processes.
- Experience with requirements analysis, technical integration planning, system architecture principles, and technical documentation.
- Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, GitHub, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams in Agile Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
- Preferred experience with VA supply chain modernization, legacy-to-modern transitions, cloud migration strategies, API-based modernization, and healthcare logistics, inventory management, federal financial management, or procurement workflows.
