Responsibilities
- Build development infrastructure, including Cloud IDE, repository and code management, and CI/CD systems.
- Build intelligent data platforms that help client developers optimize product user experiences.
- Develop staging environments for TikTok, Ads, and Shopping to isolate users and traffic from production.
- Scale distributed applications and work with Kubernetes, RPC, databases, message queues, Kafka, HDFS, Hive, and YARN.
- Build monitoring and alerting systems.
- Research and convert state-of-the-art computer engineering technologies into production products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Experience with Android, Java, Objective-C, Python, or Golang.
- Experience with one or more of private or public cloud, backend architecture, storage systems, databases, CI/CD systems, build infrastructure, and big data.
- Preferred: full-stack development experience.
- Preferred: technical leadership experience and ability to work with ambiguity.
- Preferred: strong strategic thinking and team collaboration skills.
