Responsibilities
- Produce technical documentation using technical decision-making processes and RX architectural principles.
- Build performant, resilient, extensible, and secure software following Secure SDLC practices.
- Apply testing strategies that support deployment confidence and service and operational agreements.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Support operational health through monitoring, diagnostics, incident response, and service reliability work.
- Maintain runbooks, documentation, and operational knowledge while helping reduce technical debt.
- Contribute to code quality, testing, and development workflow improvements.
- Share knowledge with peers and support onboarding or mentoring of junior engineers when appropriate.
Requirements
- Experienced professional software engineer.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript with React, and SQL with PostgreSQL.
- Experience working in Agile cross-functional product development teams.
- Experience translating ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions.
- Working knowledge of SOLID, design patterns, API design, domain-driven design, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience building modern web applications with React, Vite, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS and using testing, DevSecOps, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and Secure SDLC practices.
- Experience with observability and analytics tools such as Splunk and Mixpanel.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Bedrock, and agentic AI workflows.
