Responsibilities
- Review product features and define relevant test scenarios for robotics platforms.
- Design and implement ML/AI code to verify product functionality.
- Maintain automated regression tests to support product release quality.
- Perform test-failure root-cause analysis with product development teams.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and platform issues.
- Work cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, security, hardware, platform, and external silicon and hardware vendor teams.
- Mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and define standards for maintainable production-grade firmware.
- Independently manage priorities, timelines, deliverables, and changing project requirements.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and process improvement.
Requirements
- Strong background in operating systems.
- Strong background in robotics.
- Several years of hands-on Unix/Linux development experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Python and Bash scripting for development and automation.
- Strong knowledge of ROS2, NVIDIA tools, and AI/ML software used for locomotion, feedback, and sensors.
- Systematic problem-solving, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, manage work independently, and mentor engineers.
