Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation solutions using Advanced Excel, Macro/VBA, MS Access, SQL, Power Automate, FloQast, and Power Apps.
- Partner with finance operations teams to understand process requirements and engineer automations for high-volume workflows.
- Develop data models, query logic, and exception-handling routines using Excel, Access, and SQL.
- Build and enhance workflow-based solutions to improve process standardization and support stronger controls.
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for sustainable ownership and supportability.
- Troubleshoot defects, resolve production issues, and identify opportunities for improvement in existing automations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in automation development or VBA/Excel-based engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and large-volume data handling.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Macro/VBA automation coding.
- Experience with MS Access and SQL for data storage and reporting support.
- Hands-on experience in workflow automation tools such as Power Automate and FloQast.
- Good understanding of process controls and validation design in an operations environment.
- Experience in developing automation solutions in Finance operations is preferred.
