Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to robotics research and development involving computer vision, Visual-Language-Action models, and multi-sensor fusion.
- Design, implement, optimize, prototype, and validate perception algorithms for autonomous robotic systems in simulation and real-world environments.
- Integrate perception modules with planning, control, and manipulation subsystems.
- Use NVIDIA Isaac Sim to prototype and validate robotic perception solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers and provide technical guidance.
- Evaluate emerging robotics, computer vision, and AI technologies and contribute to publications, patents, and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in robotics, computer science, electrical/electronics engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on robotics experience focused on perception, computer vision, and sensor fusion.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ and expertise with Docker, Linux/Ubuntu, and shell scripting.
- Experience developing and deploying computer vision algorithms such as object detection, tracking, SLAM, and segmentation.
- Experience with Visual-Language-Action models or multimodal AI systems and sensor fusion involving camera, lidar, radar, and IMU data.
- Experience with end-to-end robotics projects from prototyping through deployment, cloud services, and model deployments.
- Familiarity with ROS and NVIDIA Isaac Sim is desirable; PyTorch and TensorFlow experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.
- Preferred qualifications include published robotics, AI, or computer vision research; large-scale perception data collection and annotation; and real-world robotics deployment experience.
