Responsibilities

  • Develop production-grade code through vision, definition, planning, execution, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Partner with Product Management to build customer experiences.
  • Identify technologies and techniques that improve platform performance and customer experience.
  • Maintain consistency, reliability, supportability, and observability across services.
  • Analyze product tradeoffs and deliver simple, intuitive products.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams across organizational levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One year of prior relevant experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Strong understanding of software layers including UI, service, data store, and communication layers.
  • Experience delivering commercial cloud and backend software products or services at enterprise-to-internet scale, or experience in a related area.
  • Experience developing software in a production environment using Java, C++, or another programming language.
  • Experience with distributed computing, enterprise-wide systems, and distributed teams.
  • Experience with agile-based development, Scrum, Kanban, or another agile methodology, and with a DevOps culture.
  • Experience in a similar resort setting is preferred.
