Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy scalable backend services that are reliable and fault tolerant.
- Write clear, testable, modular, and maintainable code.
- Triage and troubleshoot issues spanning various cloud services and transport protocols.
- Define and implement key metrics to measure and monitor performance and reliability.
- Contribute to long-term architecture, technology initiatives, and technical roadmap.
- Work cross-functionally with diverse engineering teams and management.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or similar degree and/or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Typescript, Go, Java, or Javascript.
- Strong knowledge of REST, API design patterns, and database technologies.
- Familiarity with webserver technologies like Node.js, Nginx, or Apache.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
