Base Salary
$80k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture across multiple infrastructure teams and collaborate with IT and application/development teams on architecture roadmaps, solution architecture, detailed design, and hands-on engineering.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure applications, systems, and technology platforms.
- Evaluate technologies and tools, manage vendor relationships, and support strategic platform planning.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and engineering teams, including design reviews and code walkthroughs.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, document architecture and system designs, and monitor emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Perform cloud and infrastructure performance analysis and tuning while supporting cloud and DevOps strategy alignment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressively more responsible work experience in a technical discipline.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, cloud migration, DevOps, Kubernetes, infrastructure architecture, organizational change management, and business-focused outcomes is desirable.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex technical solutions in an application, data, infrastructure, or security domain.
- Cloud and infrastructure performance analysis and tuning experience.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language and related frameworks.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong presentation, verbal, written, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
