Responsibilities
- Design and stand up multi-account AWS environments with Organizations, Control Tower or equivalent, guardrails, and service control policies.
- Build secure VPC networking and private connectivity using VPC endpoints, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway, routing, and DNS.
- Define IAM roles, permission boundaries, cross-account access, and least-privilege identity boundaries.
- Create and maintain reusable, versioned Terraform and/or AWS CDK infrastructure modules.
- Design and own CI/CD pipelines that build, test, scan, and publish agent containers to Amazon ECR.
- Automate promotion across development, test, and production environments with approval gates, rollback, and version tracking.
- Configure and deploy agents to AgentCore Runtime, including sessions, scaling, configuration, and secrets handling.
- Build starter repositories, pipeline templates, documentation, decision records, and runbooks.
- Implement encryption, logging, tagging, image scanning, auditing, and other security and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with client security teams and blended client/vendor teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on production AWS experience.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK or CloudFormation, including reusable module development.
- Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, cross-account access, permission boundaries, and service control policies.
- Strong AWS networking knowledge, including VPC design, routing, VPC endpoints, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway, and DNS.
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, or similar tools.
- Strong container experience with Docker, Amazon ECR, and deployment to ECS, EKS, Fargate, or Lambda.
- Experience with AWS Secrets Manager and Parameter Store for secrets and configuration management.
- Deep hands-on strength in either infrastructure and IaC or CI/CD and runtime deployment, with working knowledge of the other area.
- Clear communication skills, ability to work in client and vendor teams, and prior consulting experience.
- Preferred AWS certifications include Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or Advanced Networking.
- Preferred experience includes Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore Runtime, LLM or agent-based applications, policy-as-code, supply-chain security tools, and regulated industries.
