Responsibilities
- Deliver frontend and backend solutions across Azure, Power Platform, API integration, security accreditation, and data engineering.
- Provide technical leadership and act as the primary technical quality gate for full stack application development.
- Review and approve contractor-produced code, architecture decisions, technical designs, and internal applications.
- Build Python and .NET Function Apps for file ingestion, malware scanning, validation, aggregation, disaggregation, and transformation pipelines.
- Define full stack development standards covering coding conventions, branching, CI/CD strategies, security controls, API design, environment management, and documentation.
- Identify technical risks, design deficiencies, and security gaps in delivered code.
- Mentor internal developers and run technical learning sessions on software engineering fundamentals.
- Build and review read/write API integrations against the Client Integration Bus specification.
- Develop Power Pages portal components for file handling, validation reports, administration, and workflow status.
- Review and configure infrastructure templates, private endpoints, managed identities, RBAC roles, Key Vault secrets, and Azure Monitor alerts.
- Configure Dataverse entities, row-level security models, and Business Unit hierarchies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full stack development experience across enterprise or government-grade applications.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Azure environments with demonstrable DevOps and CI/CD engineering experience.
- Experience mentoring or technically leading developers at varied experience levels, including developers using AI IDEs.
- Experience with third-party contractor or subcontractor delivery models is essential.
- Experience with Australian government projects or security-cleared environments is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
- Australian citizenship is mandatory.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
