Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Alpaca Connect frontends in TypeScript and React with supporting Go services.
- Improve application onboarding, testing, compliance review, approval, publishing, and management workflows.
- Convert manual support and compliance processes into clear, auditable self-service workflows.
- Design APIs and integrations across identity, account, trading, and market data systems.
- Own features from design through production and contribute to the team’s technical direction.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Compliance, Support, Partnerships, and Platform teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production full-stack applications.
- Strong TypeScript and React skills.
- Experience with Go or another modern backend language.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing REST APIs and integrating distributed services.
- Experience with OAuth, OIDC, or similar authorization systems.
- Track record of delivering secure, user-facing features end to end.
- Clear communication and sound judgment when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.
- Preferred experience with developer platforms, partner portals, marketplaces, compliance or operational workflows, financial markets, brokerage systems, market data, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, production observability, startups, or distributed remote teams.
