Responsibilities
- Own customer and business problems from definition through production release.
- Design data models, APIs, and backend services for complex, high-scale construction data.
- Build user interfaces and make product and UX decisions using the company design system.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Data on strategic initiatives and shipped features.
- Architect and implement modular packages and services in the monorepo.
- Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture with code reviews, testing, releases, and infrastructure automation.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience building, shipping, and maintaining complex web applications with TypeScript, React, and Node.
- Experience shipping across the full stack with strong backend engineering depth.
- Ability to own loosely defined features, including scope, solution design, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience designing data models, APIs, and services with attention to performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Sound UX judgment and the ability to make interface decisions without detailed specifications.
- Product mindset, comfort with ambiguity, strong problem-solving ability, and excellent English communication skills.
- Experience shipping AI-powered features involving LLMs or agents is a bonus.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
