Responsibilities
- Lead the development and global rollout of the Core platform across market data, quantitative research, pricing, and strategy groups.
- Deploy and validate software deliverables independently or with traders and quantitative researchers in a fast-paced iterative process.
- Develop tools and frameworks for tuning and data-driven systematic pricing and trading strategies.
- Refine platform requirements and iterate on designs and implementations with engineers, quants, and technical traders.
- Develop exchange connectivity software for receiving market data and sending orders through exchange APIs and protocols.
- Use, maintain, and extend software testing suites to ensure quality.
- Optimize exchange communication, including kernel bypass, TLS, and connection handling.
- Implement exchange solutions using exchange SDKs and languages including C++, Rust, Python, and TypeScript.
- Implement trading algorithms, improve trading engine stability and performance, enhance monitoring and observability, investigate production issues, and prepare releases and deployments.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification or experience.
- At least five years of post-graduation professional C++ software development experience, preferably in proprietary trading.
- Ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable code.
- Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming.
- Interest in maximizing performance from available hardware and software.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical business colleagues.
