Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build cloud ingestion, real-time event streaming, time-series and event storage, and safety-event data models.
- Design multi-tenant systems with identity, authentication, SSO, and role-based access control.
- Develop infrastructure and containerized deployments across edge and cloud environments, including monitoring and CI/CD.
- Build real-time operations dashboards, alert details with video clips, site maps, zone-violation tracking, risk summaries, compliance analytics, and operator coaching workflows.
- Develop orchestration and conversational agentic features for alert triage, coaching drafts, and safety-data summarization.
- Work directly with customers, run pilots alongside live deployments, instrument usage, and iterate rapidly from field feedback.
- Own ambiguous problems end to end from scoping and implementation through shipping and measurement.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Full-stack proficiency with a modern backend language such as Go, Python, or Java, plus cloud infrastructure or modern frontend development using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with AWS, containers, CI/CD, distributed or event-driven systems, or data-dense real-time user interfaces, depending on area of focus.
- Experience designing or working within multi-tenant systems with role-based access control.
- Fluent use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
- Ability to reason across device, cloud, and user-facing systems, work across infrastructure and product/UX problems, and operate with ownership in ambiguous environments.
- Direct experience working with customers or end users to shape products.
- Preferred experience with Temporal, WorkOS, Auth0, Clerk, Spark, PySpark, time-series data, high-volume IoT or sensor data, AI agent features, or safety, operations, or compliance software.
