Responsibilities

  • Develop new graphics compute driver features in modern C++.
  • Help enable upcoming Intel GPUs, including GPUs not yet available in silicon.
  • Debug and fix issues reported by internal teams and the open-source community.
  • Write unit tests and participate in code reviews and CI.
  • Propose and build improvements to development tools and ways of working.
  • Learn how a production GPU driver operates from the API layer through the hardware.

Requirements

  • Be pursuing the second, third, or fourth year of study and be able to maintain student status for at least one year.
  • No professional experience is required.
  • Have working knowledge of C++.
  • Have knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Demonstrate the desire and ability to learn quickly.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Practical knowledge of scripting languages such as Python is preferred.
  • Experience with 3D graphics, GPGPU pipelines, or APIs such as OpenCL, CUDA, Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenGL/ES, SYCL, or Level Zero is preferred.
  • Personal interests in AI, computer graphics, game development, or similar areas are preferred.
