Responsibilities

  • Contribute to firmware features, tools, test environments, or debug workflows for SSD and storage-related technologies.
  • Support firmware and system-level validation by executing test plans, analyzing failures, reproducing issues, and assisting with root-cause analysis.
  • Develop or improve test scripts, tools, and automation frameworks to increase validation efficiency, coverage, and reporting.
  • Analyze test results, logs, and product behavior to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with firmware, validation, hardware, and architecture teams.
  • Document tools, test methods, debugging findings, and project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with one or more of Python, C, or C++.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based development or test environments.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with firmware development, embedded software, device drivers, low-level systems programming, SSDs, NAND flash, NVMe, PCIe, storage systems, software validation, test automation, debug tools, regression frameworks, test-plan development, failure reproduction, root-cause analysis, performance analysis, log analysis, or telemetry.
  • Preferred experience includes building automation with Python, shell scripting, or test frameworks.
