Responsibilities
- Design applications around end-user needs and translate business requirements into easy-to-use solutions.
- Build new applications and enhance existing internal and external-facing products using .NET and Python.
- Contribute to technical design, estimation, delivery planning, and solution discussions within a Scrum team.
- Maintain code quality and test coverage through peer programming, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Monitor post-deployment issues, respond to user feedback, and provide application support.
- Promote SOLID, BDD, TDD, and DDD engineering practices.
- Support junior team members and contribute to technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft .NET and/or Python building microservices, web applications, or console applications.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API or .NET Core, and Flask or FastAPI.
- Front-end experience with React and Angular.
- Experience with Entity Framework or another ORM.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, RAG, Prompt Flow, Kubernetes, Helm, and Elasticsearch or Azure AI Search.
- Knowledge of Azure services including Key Vault, App Configuration, virtual networks, and API Gateway.
- Understanding of CI/CD, QA automation, and release automation.
- Experience with testing tools such as MSTest, NUnit, unittest, Jest, mock frameworks, Postman, or Newman.
- Cloud experience, preferably Azure, with AWS or Google Cloud also relevant.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, a NoSQL database, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Strong object-oriented programming foundations, Git knowledge, and experience with Visual Studio.
- Clear communication, sound judgement, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
