Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, test, and optimize scalable software components and applications.
- Develop distributed microservices, real-time streaming systems, and large-scale transaction and data-processing solutions.
- Design and implement software architectures and integration patterns.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, manage team activities, and contribute to decisions across multiple teams.
- Identify and implement engineering best practices to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication for timely project execution.
- Deliver clean, maintainable, high-quality code while managing priorities across multiple projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Go programming, with 5 or more years of overall experience stated for the role.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree, or 4 years of relevant work experience as an alternative.
- Proficiency in Go and Java full-stack development.
- Experience with distributed microservices systems, scalable software architectures, and large-volume transaction systems.
- Experience with C++, Rust, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Hadoop, J2EE, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Splunk, Humio, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, debugging, testing, and software performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and the ability to solve complex software design and development issues.
- Strong communication, facilitation, prioritization, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team and knowledge of payments are preferred.
