Base Salary
$150k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production-quality JavaScript across Virtru’s front-end and back-end products using React and related toolchains.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs with Go.
- Deploy and operate highly available Enterprise SaaS applications on AWS or GCP.
- Own the application lifecycle, including coding, automated testing, deployment, production operations, and PagerDuty on-call rotations.
- Apply software design patterns to solve complex engineering problems and deliver work spanning multiple systems.
- Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to investigate issues, identify solutions, estimate work, manage risk, and communicate progress.
- Mentor teammates, provide actionable feedback, improve team redundancy, and support technical growth.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing with JavaScript, including Node.js and/or React.
- Proficiency with Go for building efficient, scalable backend services and APIs.
- Experience deploying and operating highly available, scalable Enterprise SaaS applications in a DevOps environment.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns.
- Experience building and deploying applications with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Experience using Docker across development, testing, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with Agentic AI workflows and tooling.
- Strong collaboration, communication, adaptability, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
