Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of secure networking solutions across VPN, PKI, cryptography, and SD-WAN platform infrastructure.
- Architect scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems.
- Drive cross-functional delivery of critical features and influence technical direction across teams.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and operational excellence at scale.
- Own projects from conception through production release.
- Promote AI-assisted tools such as Codex to improve productivity, debugging, development workflows, and software quality.
- Lead, mentor, and standardize engineering practices across the team.
Requirements
- 9+ years of deep technical experience in networking and security domains involving large-scale, production-grade systems.
- Strong programming expertise in C/C++.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated system design and architecture experience for scalable, reliable systems.
- Track record of leading critical projects end to end.
- Experience with embedded Linux software development.
- Ability to influence technical direction across teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Preferred experience includes IPSec VPN technologies, Yocto-based build systems, cloud platform integration, PKI and certificate lifecycle management, network security, SD-WAN, secure connectivity, cryptographic systems and protocols, AI-assisted development tools, post-quantum cryptography, cryptographic agility, and networking/security standards such as RFCs.
