Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans to validate software features, systems, functionality, reliability, performance, and quality.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Perform API testing and API automation using Postman and Karate Framework.
- Create and maintain test cases, execute manual and regression testing, and track defects using Jira and Zephyr Scale.
- Monitor automation scripts, identify and remedy defects, and recommend preventative and corrective quality actions.
- Compile and analyze statistical data, draft quality assurance policies and procedures, and investigate customer complaints and product issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, industry, internal, and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience automating test scenarios.
- Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, VS Code, Git, test planning, test cases, manual test execution, Jira, Zephyr Scale, Postman, Karate Framework, and API automation.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and Python.
- Strong computer, analytical, problem-solving, database, and QA application skills.
- Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Selenium, Eclipse, BDD frameworks, TDD frameworks, XML, JSON, Appium, mobile automation, CI/CD concepts, GitHub Copilot, and related testing tools is a plus.
