Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-agent solutions using large language models for multi-channel customer interactions and business workflows.
- Develop scalable Node.js and Python microservices exposing REST web services and REST APIs.
- Architect SQL-based data-access layers supporting reliable, secure, and efficient data operations.
- Apply prompt-engineering techniques, reusable patterns, and guardrails to improve large language model outputs.
- Integrate AI-agent capabilities across web, mobile, and assisted customer channels.
- Use Microsoft GitHub Copilot to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and project standards.
- Collaborate with product and experience teams to translate requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, performance optimization, and reliability improvements for services and APIs.
- Conduct code reviews, unit tests, and integration tests for Node.js, Python, and SQL components.
- Document system designs, API contracts, data models, and AI-agent interaction flows.
- Coordinate with operations and support teams on deployments, incident resolution, and production improvements in a hybrid work model.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of AI agents and large language models, including responsible and ethical application.
- Advanced prompt-engineering skills for improving output quality and reducing manual post-processing.
- Deep proficiency in Node.js, Python, and microservices design.
- Strong SQL and database-design capabilities for transactional and analytical workloads.
- Proven experience building and consuming REST web services and REST APIs, including authentication, versioning, and error handling.
- Experience using Microsoft GitHub Copilot and other development accelerators responsibly.
- Understanding of multi-channel domain patterns and orchestration across digital and assisted customer touchpoints.
