Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable and secure Java backend services and APIs.
- Develop and deploy microservices in Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
- Design database schemas, optimize queries, and integrate relational and non-relational databases.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and support reliable automated software delivery.
- Write unit, integration, and contract tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Collaborate with product managers, system architects, and frontend engineers to deliver technical solutions.
- Integrate LLM APIs into Java applications for summarization, semantic search, and automated classification.
- Build RAG pipelines and agentic workflows using Java-based GenAI libraries and frameworks.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java, including multithreading, concurrency, and object-oriented design patterns.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Experience designing and consuming web APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
- Proficiency with Git and Maven or Gradle.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience focused on Java backend systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated interest or project experience involving Generative AI or LLM integration.
- Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Preferred familiarity with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Preferred experience building a RAG application or chatbot.
- Python familiarity for basic AI scripting or data manipulation is a plus.
