Base Salary
$109k - $123k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and assigned features.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code using team standards and established patterns.
- Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Use and validate approved AI-assisted tools across design, development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Follow policies for AI usage, intellectual property, security, privacy, PHI handling, and Responsible AI practices.
- Contribute to development process, tooling, automation, and engineering productivity improvements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience delivering complex, scalable applications.
- Proficiency in C# or Python and familiarity with their ecosystems.
- Working knowledge of relational database development, preferably SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control, including GitHub or Azure Git, and pull-request workflows.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with HL7 FHIR, healthcare data domains, or broader healthcare domain experience.
- Preferred: exposure to GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, prompt engineering, AI-assisted testing, and AI-enabled software delivery.
- Preferred: experience with Node.js, Django, Spring, or Elasticsearch.
- Preferred: familiarity with microservices architecture.
