Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, modify, test, debug, and maintain software programs and modules.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot queries, and improve system performance and availability.
- Document software solutions using specifications, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, reports, and other formal documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, stakeholders, and clients.
- Provide project status updates, generate MIS and reports, and track delivery against schedules and release plans.
- Gather client requirements and feedback and respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certifications to maintain current technical skills.
Requirements
- Experience developing software solutions through requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance is required by the role description.
- Ability to automate software validation and design and execute test cases and scenarios.
- Ability to analyze system issues, recommend software or system modifications, and evaluate software-hardware interfaces.
- Ability to create accurate technical documentation, project reports, and status updates.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, analysts, functional teams, and engineering staff.
- Strong customer focus, communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities are expected.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, learn new programming languages, and complete assigned certifications.
