Responsibilities
- Own critical Work IQ API and agentic platform components.
- Design and develop REST and A2A APIs, MCP infrastructure, retrieval and orchestration services, and developer tooling.
- Set a high technical and quality bar for agentic systems and developer-facing tools.
- Design and ship performant, reliable terminal experiences for developers.
- Use data, benchmarks, and user feedback to guide iteration and investment.
- Collaborate across organizations to enable agentic products on a shared foundation.
- Influence architecture, technical direction, and engineering standards beyond the immediate team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: hands-on experience building and operating production generative AI or agentic systems.
- Preferred: experience shipping customer-facing developer interfaces or products across platform and user-facing systems.
- Preferred: systems design, performance, and debugging experience in complex production environments.
- Preferred: experience designing, running, and optimizing evaluations for agentic systems, including tools, prompts, and agent loops.
