Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable applications and data-processing solutions.
- Deliver data and software engineering solutions aligned with business requirements and product roadmaps.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through production deployment.
- Champion data quality, secure coding, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and quality management improvements.
- Provide L3 production support, lead root-cause analysis, and resolve critical production incidents.
- Improve observability through monitoring, alerting, and logging, while optimizing performance and scalability.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and promote automated testing and other engineering best practices.
- Contribute to platform modernization, technical debt reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives, including the use of Agentic AI.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Backend Development.
- Strong experience developing enterprise-grade applications and data-processing solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with data modeling, data quality management, performance tuning, ETL/ELT processes, and relational databases.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience with Zephyr Test Management, Cycode, secure development practices, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production issues and driving resolution.
- Experience working in Agile and SAFe development environments.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team growth.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, monitoring, scalability, and performance-engineering capabilities.
