Responsibilities
- Perform technical design, application architecture, full-stack development, API integrations, and production application support.
- Develop and maintain web, web-service, mobile, desktop, and consumer-facing applications using Microsoft .NET and related technologies.
- Design relational databases, normalization strategies, T-SQL and stored procedures, reports, and data migration or transformation workflows.
- Create technical specifications, architecture and design artifacts, use-case diagrams, class and sequence diagrams, and detailed documentation.
- Participate in application lifecycle management using Git, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and Jira.
- Estimate development effort, improve development and deployment practices, test and monitor solutions, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with customers, peers, agile teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional applications.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on software design, development processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture, and/or IT infrastructure systems.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any field and ten years of satisfactory full-time experience in the specified architecture or IT infrastructure areas.
- Education and/or experience equivalent to either stated qualification may be accepted.
- Experience with full-stack development, Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, web services, APIs, relational databases, and application architecture.
- Knowledge of front-end, back-end, desktop, reporting, data migration, design patterns, application lifecycle management, and software development practices.
- Ability to estimate development tasks, collaborate with diverse teams, interface with customers, and mentor junior developers.
