Machine Learning System Scheduling Engineer Graduate (Applied Machine Learning) - 2027 Start

- Design and develop resource scheduling systems for machine learning workloads supporting Volcano Ark and machine learning platform products.
- Optimize orchestration and scheduling of GPUs, CPUs, accelerators, cloud storage, VPC, RDMA, and other resources across multiple data centers and clusters.
- Support offline training, online inference, and other workloads under strict multi-tenant isolation while improving resource utilization and efficiency.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in one or two programming languages in a Linux environment, such as Go, Java, or Python.
- Solid foundations in computer science, algorithms, data structures, and coding practices.
- Familiarity with at least one mainstream machine learning framework, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture and ecosystem and container technologies such as Docker, container, and Kata.
- Understanding of distributed systems principles and participation in designing, developing, or maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with large-scale cluster resource scheduling and source-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Volcano, YARN, or Mesos.
- Preferred knowledge of multi-tenant quota governance, preemption, elasticity, fragmentation, tidal scheduling, co-location, QoS, and GPU scheduling.
- Preferred experience with CUDA, RDMA, AI infrastructure, hardware and software co-design, high-performance computing, machine learning hardware architecture, ML for systems, or distributed storage.
- Preferred hands-on experience with cloud-native machine learning systems.
