Responsibilities
- Research state-of-the-art computer vision methodologies and create or curate training and validation datasets.
- Perform statistical analyses and develop visualization tools to assess data quality.
- Build and refine training pipelines and metrics to improve model performance.
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for robotics and aerospace projects.
- Implement ML and computer vision models in production-ready environments and integrate them with company systems.
- Conduct code reviews, test algorithms in real-world environments, and develop monitoring tools to track model performance.
- Collaborate with software and simulation teams and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
- A degree from a top-tier engineering school or university, with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field specified.
- Strong mathematical foundations, coding skills, and hands-on machine learning and computer vision project experience.
- Python experience is required; C++ is a plus.
- Experience at top AI companies is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for machine learning and computer vision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
