Responsibilities

Lead UI architecture and design decisions for web and responsive applications.
Define UI standards, best practices, reusable component libraries, and enterprise design systems.
Review code, enforce quality standards, and mentor UI developers.
Design and develop complex, scalable, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible UI solutions.
Build reusable UI components using Angular, React, Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Integrate user interfaces with backend services through REST APIs, JSON, and microservices.
Partner with UX/UI designers to implement wireframes and prototypes.
Collaborate with backend engineers, architects, and DevOps teams.
Facilitate complex problem resolution and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
Ensure accessibility compliance and enforce secure coding and enterprise UI standards.
Support unit, integration, and UI automation testing.
Prepare technical and procedural documentation and participate in Agile planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience.
At least 3 years of relevant or direct industry experience.
Multiple years of UI or frontend development experience.
At least 2 years in a technical lead or senior UI role.
Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Angular, React, or Vue.
Experience building Single Page Applications, responsive and mobile-first designs, and consuming RESTful APIs and JSON.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, and Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred experience with enterprise design systems, component libraries, WCAG 2.x, microservices architectures, Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, Playwright, AWS, or Azure.
Preferred financial services or regulated-industry experience.
Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, analytical, and consensus-building skills.
