Base Salary
$99k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build infrastructure, data models, and APIs for core platform features at scale.
- Ship testable, maintainable code focused on performance, scalability, and long-term reliability.
- Build and maintain software testing and validation procedures and technical documentation.
- Own internal infrastructure and ML systems that serve customers and cross-functional teams.
- Analyze complex system challenges and create solutions addressing observability, SLA commitments, and scalability.
- Collaborate with application and front-end engineers to solve customer problems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend systems and API development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on production experience with AWS, Postgres, and Node.js, including deployment and operations.
- Proficiency with TypeGraphQL, Apollo/Express, React, RDS, and ClickHouse.
- Experience owning large-scale backend projects and maintaining high code quality.
- Effective communication and sound judgment regarding technical tradeoffs and scalable system design.
