Base Salary
$141k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build ClickHouse Cloud’s billing and metering platform
- Design and build mission-critical billing processes
- Deliver secure, efficient, mature, and highly available frameworks and platforms that abstract infrastructure complexity
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions
- Integrate with billing, metering, logging, monitoring, and support systems
- Lead and ship large-scope technical projects across the software lifecycle
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building frontend systems running on the cloud
- Hands-on experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects with multiple experienced engineers
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Serverless, EKS, SQS, Mongo, Node.js, and React; proficiency in multiple languages is preferred
- Experience with billing concepts including credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, CSP marketplaces, invoicing, sales tax, auditing, and record-keeping
- Strong ownership and experience building and operating high-scale distributed systems across the full software lifecycle
- Expertise with a public cloud provider and its infrastructure-as-a-service offering, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and production-debugging skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong responsibility, ownership, and accountability
