Base Salary
$190k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust applications and systems using React, TypeScript, Django, Postgres, and other libraries.
- Develop digital experiences that give clinicians and patients access to complex genetic testing.
- Digitize paper-based workflows at busy OBGYN clinics and enable portable electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with product design and product management to deliver experiences for patients and providers.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and maintain adequate test coverage.
- Own end-to-end project delivery and make informed decisions with autonomy.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing and collaborative learning.
- Champion architectural best practices, code quality, thoughtful code reviews, security, and compliance for sensitive patient information.
- Offer innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and constructively challenge stakeholder assumptions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience delivering complex projects and following engineering best practices.
- Deep experience with TypeScript, React, and CSS-in-JS libraries.
- Experience with frontend architecture practices including component systems, npm workspaces, Storybook, and Playwright testing.
- Experience with web frameworks such as Django.
- Familiarity with modern AI-driven development practices and tools.
- Ability and interest to work in person with the team in Menlo Park.
- Startup or entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
- Experience driving products from zero to one is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare data and standards such as FHIR and HL7 is preferred.
- Interest in engaging with and applying LLMs is preferred.
